Since Version 1.2, VideoOCX includes the free VideoOCXTools! This is an additional ActiveX component which allows you to integrate powerful video processing functions into your applications that are using VideoOCX.

VideoOCXTools is automatically installed along with the VideoOCX  download. VideoOCXTools includes the following functions:

• Insert custom text into your video images using any true type font.
   
• Insert date & time into your video images.
   
• Sobel Filter (Edge Detector).
   
• Directional Sobel Filter (indicates angles by gray values).
   
• Motion Detection (difference between last and current video frame).
   
• Difference between any two video frames.
   
• Normalization of gray values.
   
• Draw crosshairs and lines into images.
   
• Implementing these functions is just as easy as working with all the other VideoOCX features that you already know.
